I live in Tennessee and I will be voting for Mitt Romney. His track record as Governor of Massachusetts, business executive and Olympics rescuer indicate that he will be an able President in fiscal matters. Additionally, he believes in reduced taxes and I believe that is a favorable stimulus for our economy.

Mccain, The war on terror is paramount and John will fight, He knows ‘now’ how the people feel about immigration and do their wishes. The economy will take care of itself, it always has and always will.

Mitt… I believe first and foremost our U.S. economy needs an intelligent financial leader… Congress is most often consumed with special interest agendas and clueless on running a business…..

Well, I don’t think that one can “fix” a free market economy. I think that meddling too much will just draw out the pain of any risk-related correction. On the other hand, reducing taxes tends to produce an overall expansion of the economy. On that hand, I’d have to go for one of the Republican candidates… although they all would “do something” which is more than I’d like to see.
Personally, I’d like this correction to keep going so that housing prices drop (where I am, they are still many times more than they were 5 years ago). Then we could buy a house! That’s the “up side” to these corrections that the news (even FOX) doesn’t publish.

Romney - McCain is not a conservative in my opinion and I don’t trust him. If Romney doesn’t get the bid, I might vote for Obama. If he doesn’t get it, I may not vote!

Mitt Romney gets my vote. For me it’s the Economy and immigration. If McCain gets the Republican Nomination I will vote for him in November but my heart will not be in it! McCain is “Barely” better than the “Flip Flop Untrustworthy” Hillary & the “No Experienced Liberal” Obama.

I don’t plan on voting for any of the current candidates all are to liberal for me. The Republican Party has compromised itself to a point where JFK’s party was more conservative then the current Republican Party.
There are no Conservatives in this race….No more compromises for me, Picking the one that is closest to my beliefs is no longer an option. They are all to far left for me!
I have no doubt there are more out there saying the same thing!

Romney is by far the best candidate to fix Washington, and strengthen our country. He is the only republican candidate who has actually brought significant and meaningful change in the business world, and the political arena.

I only see one candidate with leadership skills, already has on the job experience.
He was in the military and understands what is working.
John Mc Cain has 20 years experience with national security and how to deal with terrorist.
He is pro-life.
He wants tax rebates. but with contolled spending,he knows that we cannot rely on foregin countries to supply our oil. He believes we need to develope new ways to supply our energry needs. He also knows the there are many job losses and the need to pursue new technology to create more jobs for the young people.
He is the only candidate that I had the priveldge to volunteer to help elect as PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

Mike Huckabee: Fairtax is great for the economy

Mike Huckabee is who I am voting for tonight because he is truly pro life, where McCain is for killing babies for medical experiments (embryonic stem cell research). Romney says he is pro life, but he did not show that by his actions when he was governor. Mike Huckabee has a true pro-life position.

McCain got my vote.
I’m only hoping that if McCain gets the nomination, that the party chooses a very conservative running mate to win back the true conservatives. My first pick would be Romney. He’s very strong on the economy, a good leader, and would give the party the “best of both worlds”. He has character. He also would be best suited as the next (after Senator McCain)President of the United States. McCain has made the comment that he’d probably on run one term. Mitt could step into his shoes nicely.
McCain would be the best Commander In Chief. I would be able to sleep at night knowing we have a strong leader in the White House. In these times, it would not be wise to put someone with little to no experience in the White House as the Commander in Chief.
McCain (if President) could reach across party lines and get things done. Unlike an extreme conservative.
McCain has the most experience of all the candidates (Republican and Democrat). That’s why I hope he is the next President of the United States.

My vote is Rommey.
If menory serves, starting with JFK, the six or so presidents that were former Naval officers turned in a less than outstanding record. As a former Naval officer, I find this a bit upsetting. Therefore, looking beyond military service, I decided that the contry needs Gov. Rommey.

For me it has to be Mitt at this point. Mr. Mccain and Mr. Huckabee have problems in my opinion. Senator Mccain agrees too much with the liberals too much of the time on too many issues and Gov. Huckabee just will not be able to carry the country come Nov. Gov Romney has the skills and the knowhow to manage the US and a national campain. To win, one must have mass appeal. In the two candidates the democrates are left with, one has too many negatives and the other is too liberal even for them.
Gov. Romney has neither and is gaining the mass appeal he’ll need to win.

Mitt — Our country has become vastly too liberal and with it we stand to lose the one thing that allows this country to be the strongest on earth, that being the Constitution.
I believe Mitt Romney will secure our borders, deal with illegals, fix social security and allow business’s to do what they do best (employ people). The lives we live are only in jeopardy if we allow government to control us and make our choices for us.

I think Huckabee is my choice simply because of the fair tax and immigration. I am surprised that if Romney is as big a financial guy as he claims to be he “Hasn’t had time to look into it” The fair tax, and an end to illegal immigration as well as immediate deportation of existing “ILLEGALS” and our economy would skyrocket. McCain isn’t even on the same time zone with conservatives on either of these issues, he is a liberal in sheeps clothing.

I can’t vote for John McCain because of his immigration policy. If I break the law in this country no one will give me amnesty. Immigration is a privilege earned not a rite of passage. McCain is a hero, and I feel he would do anything to defend our nation. Our borders need to be strengthened immediately, and our economy put on the fast track to recovery. I feel Romney can accomplish this quicker than the other candidates. Republican or Democrat

Mitt Romney is the only candidate capable of running this country like a business rather than like a politician. Unfortunately, the concept of America as a strong nation has become a cultural faux pas, ridden with compromise (read John McCain). John McCain is the only Republican candidate who can work with Democrats??? John McCain is a Democrat and a feeble substitute for effective leadership! Political pandering and feel good euphemisms simply are not enough (Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton).
Fiscal conservatism doesn’t predispose Republicans to social insensitivities any more than George Bush qualifies as a road scholar, but liberal socialists running awry will amplify our country’s entitlement mentality at the expense of a more highly inspired excellence.
Equal opportunity and equal rights are two distinct concepts. Now that everyone can choose their seat on the bus, we have to earn our way…
As Americans, we forget what once made this country great! The role of government is to manufacture poor people, dependent on it. Therefore, reduce government excess and move toward greater independence.

I voted for Duncan Hunter, who dropped out. Just my little say.
As for Dianne Bakker, you make absolutely no sense. You say you won’t vote for McCain because he isn’t conservative enough, then you say you might vote for Obama? Put down the medication and slowly back away from the voting booth.

I voted for Barack Obama because I beleive he can bring a breath of fresh air to Washington. He is smart, inspiring, and has the ability to bring together a diverse nation like ours.
